Nathan's First Birthday

We had a wonderful day celebrating Nathan's first birthday! Grandma Carole, Bob, Grandma Carol, Grandpa Jim, Great Granddad Jack, Great Grandma Ruth, and Great Uncle Wayne were all here to celebrate.And we did a Winnie-the-Pooh theme. (Nathan loved watching the streamers on the ceiling fan.)

Nathan did try some cake, but was a little iffy about it.

But he LOVED opening up his gifts.

Cuteness

Yesterday I dressed Nathan up in a new outfit and put on his new hat before we went over to Jim and Carol's. I then could not resist taking some pictures of our handsome little boy. :)

Nathan's First Christmas!

Nathan's first Christmas has been a huge success so far, with it beginning with the annual gathering of us, Megan, John, Lydia, Mom, and Bob. And soon we will have the Hind family Christmas.

But like so many kids, while Nathan got some WONDERFUL toys from his aunt and uncle and his grandparents, he found pieces of wrapping paper and the tools used to put the toys together more interesting than the toys themselves.

Nathan Has Discovered His Head

Nathan is really enjoying putting things on top of his head. And it's not just hats that he likes to try to put on there - he's tried to place various toys and pieces of food on there too!

Almost 11 Months Old

Nathan and I went to church this morning so I had to get a picture of him dressed up. He looked pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.

Nathan's First Thanksgiving

Nathan had a great time Thanksgiving weekend. He got to spend lots of time with his grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins. He had such a good time that he spent the Monday following the holiday sleeping most of the day away. This picture was taken one of the evenings over the holiday weekend. I have similar pictures of Brian holding Olivia and Jillian just like this!
