Wonderbug Take Two

We tried out the Wonderbug again and this time Nathan happily stayed in it for a good 20 minutes!

Raspberries

Nathan woke up this morning making raspberries and spent much of the day entertaining himself making the sounds over and over and over.

Can't...quite...get...it...

Nathan has quickly learned how to pull his "binky" out of his mouth. But putting it back in is another issue. :)

Just one more for today...

Because I was wrapping things up for the end  of the school year and then both Nathan and I got sick, I had not updated the blog in a couple of weeks. So I'm feeling the need to add just one more picture to make up for the lost time.

Porch Swing

Just in the last week Nathan and I have started to go outside and sit on our porch swing. Even when Nathan should be getting hungry or tired, he has never gotten fussy when we sit out there. We both just enjoy the quiet, peaceful time together. (And by the way, he typically sits on my lap when we are out there. I just had him sitting by himself in order to take these pictures. :))

Nathan and Fred

Fred has not gotten a whole lot of attention since Nathan has arrived. If you look into his eyes, I think you can see a little longing for the way things use to be, as well as a little caution because he doesn't quite know what to make of Nathan.

Nathan and Scout

Aunt Megs gave Nathan "Scout" when they were here last week. As these pictures were taken Scout was talking about how his favorite color is blue and his favorite food is french fries - just like Nathan!!! :)

Lots of Smiles!

I took Nathan to church today. At one point during the sermon he happily started smiling and making raspberries. I just couldn't help smiling along with him, even as I was grabbing the diaper bag to head back to the children's room!
